In my notes last time I wrote that this meeting wasn’t planned. But it really seemed to serendipitous to ignore. When I was writing the bathroom scene, I had a line or two where Tony would say something directly to Emma (disguised as Sunflower). While Marigold could disguise Emma’s appearance, she couldn’t disguise Emma’s behavior, and Emma was looking at Tony the entire time in the bathroom. Tony was supposed to say “What the hell are YOU looking at?” to Emma, but that line got cut because I was feeling the bathroom scene was already too long.  But now we know he DID notice, and his ego interpreted it as interest in him. Funny how these things never get planned but they just turn out that way.
