This comic is very political.  It shouldn’t be, but because there is an extreme right this comic takes a stand on the other side by default.  This is pretty much what I was feeling on the day of the election of 2020, when it seemed Trump was heading for victory. I did the layout that night, but was shocked to find out that it had turned around once the mail in ballots started getting counted. But, I finished the strip anyways, because I liked the message that sometimes you didn’t know you had hope to lose until you lost it.

I also like the artwork on this one — there is a lot of black and contrast which I am slowly finding the courage to do.
