There isn’t really much to say about this one. It’s been a while since Raven has been in a depcom strip, especially after being in Strawberry Memory and Later That Night and I needed to put her in something again. I feel this way a lot — the preemptive strike — but everyone knows it’s not healthy but you do it anyways because being hurt by people is worse. And it’s not even clear it’s real hurt — it might even be perceived hurt that she’s fighting against.  Depression does tend to give you boogeymen that you don’t know aren’t even real.

There’s a comic I’ve been putting on the backburner for a while, that is The Morning After, the comic directly after Later That Night. I loved drawing Raven and Wren together, and they have a chemistry I didn’t expect. Maybe I’ll do it soon…
