What I’ve been trying to do recently is to find a happy medium between my more realistic style and the old thick black marker earlier depcom style. I really don’t think the realistic style works that well in depcom, so instead there’s a kind of hybrid between realistic bodies and cartoonish heads that’s kind of a weird variation on the anime style  that follows a similar style (although the heads are definitely not anime – tiny eyes and big noses follow the depcom style). It’s also a bit of a break from my other comics and it makes this comic more fun to draw.
