I’d never thought of using sunglasses to alleviate some of that awkwardness…..
I’m using my headphones so that no one will talk to me..
where i am at i need to keep watching around myself i can’t trust anyone around me still i can easily pretend i’m reading something on a phone or simply in deep thought about anything but i still need my other extrovert senses it’s for survival even though it’s pointless
i can still wish for someone to attack and kill me
…and some knitting so that I can look too busy…
This is me and I’m not even depressed. I just don’t like ‘people’.
Individuals I can tolerate, even come to enjoy. But ‘people’ are too much.
Is this depression? I thought that’s a mix of being autistic and having anxiety
People do the same thing for various reasons; some people do it because of overload, others do it to deal with social phobia, women do it to not be bothered by strangers, others do it to stay in their depression bubble. This comic is not a diagnostic tool as such, there is a lot of overlap and a lot of exceptions.
