It’s so hard to know the right thing to do. I never feel like I want to just give up on my loved one, but I do fear that I’m making it worse for him by calling/messaging regularly even though he almost never responds (I got all excited when I got a three word text message after two months of non-communication). I don’t want to further stress him out, since I know that the phone does that to him, even if I’m not sending anything serious, but if I stop, I worry he will feel like I’m giving up on him.
