When I woke up in the hospital after self inflicted pancreatitis (1/2 gallons of vodka every 2-3 days for months) almost killed me, that was similar to my reaction. My Sister was like, ‘hey you’re still here.’ I don’t think anyone expected me to scream and start crying.
