Back to the present with Daffy and Sunflower. I could have taken longer with the flashback but it was already pretty long and I gotta keep the flow. I wasn’t planning the final panel, it just came out of Sunflower. These characters tend to write themselves and I feel like I’m just passing on the information instead of creating it. Honestly, this wasn’t planned, this was a case of letting the characters decide what they want to do. Instead of drawing the actual act, I think drawing Daffy’s reaction was the better one. Arthur Baxter: Moonlight Memories
Sometimes you just wanna play around. Recently I have been enjoying the exotica genre of music, and wanted to do an album cover that would fit the genre. I will probably do more, this was a lot of fun. “Arthur Baxter” is based on Arthur Lyman and Les Baxter, two of the big artists in the Exotica genre. Give them a listen! Illustration: Jogging
For a long time I just wanted to do random illos, not necessarily of women of the same body type. This was done over a long time, whenever I didn’t have a strip to do I just worked on this. However it was never in a state of finished which annoyed me but here it is. A lot of fun to work on an illustration for no reason.
