i honestly support the idea of not posting anything about yourself on the internet, having our community 80% trolls 10% snowflakes, 5% people who just ignore, and the final 5% are normal users. you just avoided a bullet!
suicide murder / social media is a crime in the face of our race especially when it’s being used by trolls/ cyber terrorists.
“joking” has its own place, time, and crowds, but for trolls .. EVERYTHING is a joke regardless what it is! and i mean limitless! nothing is sacred nothing has dignity, everything is a joke!

so do not ever share your pictures, real info, or anything about you at all, unless you wish to be attacked, criticized, hated, made fun of, and literally driven to suicide thus the naming. you already have depression as is! and posting on suicide murder / social media, is the same as throwing your life to a pit of endless fire, you’ll be killed endlessly and you can’t leave from it.

thanks Clay for the nice new page.

Hey now, just because I’m a snowflake doesn’t mean I make other people feel bad about themselves …

Can I say something about what happens to teeth after you get hit by a truck? I understand the effect is similar if you’re in a car when you get hit, but I was riding a bicycle and I have one upper incisor remaining and a couple of molars. I don’t smile for pictures.

While my story isn’t as bad as yours, I understand your pain.

I was on my bicycle going at the speed of the traffic (on my way to work, there a 1.5km main road with a gentle slope, and I go ~35-45km/h on it so I can follow the speed of the other cars and often go faster than them on that city road…) and a minivan braked for no fucking reason in front of me. I was keeping my distance so I didn’t ran into it, but the move was so sudden and surprising that I overbraked and flew over my handlebar, hitting the concrete chin-first after going ~40km/h
I saw one of my lower incisor flying away, like one meter away, and when I started getting up, I spat many teeth parts.
Result: Two upper middle incisors broken in half diagonally, the bottom-left middle incisor just flew away (I still have it on my desk, it flew away because my fucking jaw broke under it, the crack being literally under the root), four molars in different states of brokenness, top-right caning missing some of its point, four tooth fillings that just came away from the shock, and an impossible ache in the top-left premolar that we found was because the tooth was cracked vertically across the nerve, so we had to extract it too a few weeks later… oh, and nine suture points.

For my part, I got extremely lucky though, firstly because I could have broken my neck or more bones, secondly because a family friend is a extremely good dentist and orthodontist, so the day after he repaired at least my front top incisors so I don’t look like a dumbass, and thirdly because I live in Québec and we have a public health insurance for road accidents (the SAAQ, they also take care of road rules and driving permits, which pay for the insurance).
While there was no collision, it was an accident because of a car so I was covered, and I had witnesses, people who helped me get my bike and out of the road after the accident, they saw the car but didn’t get the plate (the car also drove away immediately after…), so even through all the bureaucracy and inquiry my case was solid.
So the ambulance was covered, the incisors and molars repairs were mostly covered, the premolar extraction and most of the cost for an implant were covered (and it is a VERY good implant, as I said, my dentist is an artist in his domain and also very persuasive against the bureaucrats that tried to minimize the damages and payments…) and the eventual fake tooth that will replace the bottom incisor will be covered.
So, on about 15k$ CAD of dental work, I had to pay 750$…

Again, I’m VERY lucky in my bad luck, while I’d have preferred not going through all that, I had connections and lived in the right place to make it out of my situation the best I could.

Still, I have a hole in my mouth (and because the fracture, my gum is not good enough for an implant) and some teeth are chipped, so smiling too widely isn’t really something I do (I almost thank the masks because I can just hide behind it…); the jaw didn’t set perfectly so my teeth (which were almost perfect before that, fucking hell) are crooked around the hole because of the bone moving; some molars are still very sensitive to heat and cold, and sometimes pressure (probably nerve or minor internal damage, as well as the ones that were repaired), so I need to be careful of what I eat; I can’t really eat things like corn on a knob or bite into an apple because of the half-fake top incisors; and many times when I move my jaw there’s a click, and sometimes it locks and when I open it without realizing it locked, it hurt like hell…

I get that for some (usually the extremely good looking), posting things online gives them an ego boost/self esteem boost. Whether that’s a healthy way to get it or not, I won’t go into, but if you have anything “wrong” with you, it’s unadvisable to do it if a bad comment or ten would knock your self esteem back into the Stone Age. Plus, it’s really never good to put yourself out there too much; you never know who is watching or why.
