I can so relate… I was lucky enough to find my current partner when I was at a mental hospital a few years ago. 🙃 Made things way less complicated.

I don’t even have bipolar and I can relate. Dating sucks already, but if you have literally ANY mental issue, it seems like an impossible nightmare.

It’s even worse when you’re at school with PTSD and all of your triggers are school related. Yay, fun. Yay being a Cold War military brat.

Rest assured that it’s not. Imagine all the projects that you start … just to find yourself with no energy to follow them through just one week later.

“Best” part: You already promised to do all of it to virtually everyone you know.

Well… I don’t have bipolar, but what I do have is dozens of projects I’ve started but never had the energy to finish. Mainly related to hobbies so supposedly enjoyable ones, but alas, doesn’t help any. So in that sense I suppose I can relate to a degree – but I still wish I had actual “ups” rather than just “barely in the middle” and various degrees of “down”.

Bipolar typically doesn’t cycle that fast. You’re not manic to depressed one day to the next. It’s a process of weeks and months.
