Fill in the blank from your own experience, I think. My answer would be self-doubt, and fear of social awkwardness. Others might be memories of the asshole they think they were to those people back when they were in their dark place. Or fear that the people from there past haven’t forgiven you or only have bad memories of you. For someone who just got out of an emotionally abusive relationship, it could be fear that what their ex said about their friends is true …feelings of worthlessness… Feeling like they are unlovable.
Did battle with the Nope door earlier today, came very close to losing, but instead I’ve gotten an appointment with my doctor about my breathing issues (so I can fight the nope door again Tuesday)
Right now my Nope Door is a Yup Door. Yesterday was a difficult therapy day and it will gladly allow me to go to the store to stock up for a big food binge. After that, it turns back into the Nope Door and acts as a mirror, reflecting my distorted self-concept.
I tossed my Converse and got slip-on Keds because the thought of tying shoelaces was enough to make the Nope Door win. Now I force myself outside every day (even if sometimes it’s just to take out trash).
Trying to talk to people using facebook 🙁
Happened to me this week!
I don’t know why xD. What’s the answer intended to be implied in the comic? I’m curious, since the rest is pretty accurately relatable xD.

Pick your brain poison.
For me, why is every self-loathing thing my depression likes to chant at me while I’m struggling.
To put it simply, the negative is where she exists, and it’s difficult to circumvent that.
Thanks for your answers, that makes perfect sense.
Yep, I know this all too well.
All the time

The Nope Door needs to be listed as a character.
