Meeting people from the past is out of control xD. I try to be honest and explain the whys (which for me are somewhat diferent than for the character in the comic) but no one gets it. I don’t care, I’m not putting myself in pain just because people wanna have a laugh or their charity moment of the year e.e

I must confess that I’ve become quite attached to these characters. It’s nice to see them share a lighthearted moment.

This strip is part two of five. I’m highly considering doing a regular comic featuring these two characters.

I would totally read that. The vibe between these two is so great. She really supports her partner and gives her JUST the right amount of space, waiting right outside it to catch her and make it all right. So beautiful.

I’ve been thinking of this for at least a couple of years since I genuinely like these characters, and I think it’s important to show a positive relationship instead of all the negative relationships we are exposed to in our entertainment.

With a name like “Gregory Hunt”, you’re probably as awesome as my youngest brother with the same name.

I literally just met two people from my past in the last two hours and I dealt with it and I was so proud of myself. Thank you for expressing how hard this can be.

If they were in my past and aren’t in my present there’s usually a good reason.

Thanx to the DoD of the ’60s I have tons of people from my past that I literally never got to say goodbye to because their dads were transferred to another duty station that quickly. I myself was yanked out of school 3 times including twice in the same year.

Wouldn’t be surprised if I were one of them. Living in one place and knowing people for many years is still weird to me.

As a Navy brat I averaged 2 schools a year. One year I hit 4 schools (one twice same year). I don’t tend to angst over meeting old friends again, it’seems never seeing them again that hurts. I’ve reached an age where my old friends are dropping like flies. I’ve lost two this year and my 2nd wife 3 years ago.
I was in the darkest depths for 2 years after her death. If I didn’t have to hang on to take care of our handicapped 7 year old I would have left long ago. I miss my sweetie with an ache that never ends. We were married for nearly 29 years and I knew her for 35.
      Love also cries…

Went out the other evening intending to meet with some people of my (recent) past and then ran away because I didn’t have the strength to do it.

It’s a hard thing to do and some people don’t realize it. Meeting people you don’t know can be anxiety inducing but meeting people you’re familiar with can be just as bad.
